This is a facility for members of WESSA, The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, who are linked to its KwaZulu-Natal Region. Here we post current developments, show photos of our activities, and take in comments from the WESSA membership as well as our Youth Supporters.

ReplyDeleteThis group from the Open Air School in Glenwood are taking advantage of the paved track to get close to nature. Friends of Pigeon Valley are working at their hostel to bring in locally indigenous trees and shrubs. Crispin Hemson, who chairs the WESSA Branch, spent time with the group dealing with their many questions about natural life in the Park, and will meet also with them at the hostel to show them the bird life there. The group have had some access problems at Pigeon Valley, and we plan to have these ironed out.
