The
Botanical Society of South Africa KZN Coastal Branch presents
So What IS Indigenous
Garden Design?
An
illustrated talk by
Anno Torr
Editor of
The Indigenous Gardener Digital Magazine
The
critical need for gardeners to be part of the fabric that protects indigenous
flora while supporting urban wildlife can only be achieved by changing the
objectives of traditional garden design. Colour schemes, focal points, texture,
spatial organisation and composition, are all elements of this human-driven
style. But what principles guide indigenous garden design?
All
welcome!
