D’MOSS trail walk SUNDAY 22 December 2013  (Summer Solstice Walk)

We meet on Sunday 22 December at George Codnor Park at 10 o’clock for the last walk of the year. George Codnor Park is the open ground at the top of Coedmore Road just over the bridge from Sarnia Road, opposite Elgin Road and Beacon Park. We will walk the trails between Sarnia Road ridge and the Umbilo River. We can also walk up to the view site (if all agree) over-looking the sweep of the Umbilo River as it flows under the M7, around the Portuguese Club, and back under the M7 on its way passed Umbilo Park to the bay.

The Friends of the D’MOSS Trail Walkers will have tea and biscuits ready at George Codnor when we return. There is no charge but the Friends ask for a R5 donation to cover costs. Hats and sunblock are recommended for this mid-summers walk.
