This is a facility for members of WESSA, The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, who are linked to its KwaZulu-Natal Region. Here we post current developments, show photos of our activities, and take in comments from the WESSA membership as well as our Youth Supporters.
Some of the flowers that can be seen with the advent of spring: Dwarf Loquat(Mitriostigma axillare) with orange fruit still on the bush, Showy Plane (Ochna natalitia), Bloody Lily (Scadoxus puniceus) and September Bells (Rothmannia globosa). All seen in and around Pigeon Valley.
